A redesigned UI for GameSalad Creator is one of the items that our production team is currently working on. Thanks for your suggestions.

@LaurenSalad Thanks for that. I think we can suggest anything which ever in favor and growth of GameSalad. I believe this community is my best friend. And I respect this community. GS is #1 community in the world.

    Awesome! :)

A newly designed UI I'm sure will look great on my big monitor.

    Thanks,

@creativeapps Were all hoping for something awesome with the New UI they are cooking up but I must be honest with you your example is barely a changed layout. Im honestly hoping for something radically different.

it would be good if we could simply click on an actor (not open it) and you could see/edit the rules from a pane next to the actor window.

It is nice, but does not take into account those of us who use smaller screens (like 13" MBA) since you forgot the preview zoom in/zoom out buttons... :)

*-:) I think there should be 2 UI designs... one for big screens, and one for small screens.

I think just having a custom zoom setting like in most programs (50%, 100%, 125%, or type in a %) will work great. That and the ability to hide and resize sidebars will help a lot. The current interface leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to resizing window panes. That and remembering window and sidebar sizing would help a great deal.

Wow. I was literally opening Illistrator to create a few custom interface images of my own when I saw this. Just one thing to add: Have a segmented controller at the top with all the different devices on it somycan flip between them to change things, so it's easy to publish to all devices. I REALLY love this interface idea!
