Hello!
I have posted and lurked here for a short while, and I thought I'd introduce myself...
My name is Ariel, I live in Boston and I'm (in my spare time from my day job, where I run the Client Services division of a small technology company) starting a small independent game company that focuses on mobile apps. Originally I came to GS as something that could be used as a prototyping tool, but after looking at a lot of GS created games and playing around with the tool, I've decided to just use it as my primary development platform (just bought "Pro" this week).
I'm working on three games right now:
1). Magical Unicorn - a platformer for young girls (inspired by my 6 year old daughter). You control a unicorn and try to save the princess. This is my primary focus right now. Game is designed to be non-frustrating and easy to play for young girls who might not be big game fans.
2). Pin's Penguin Puzzler - I purchased the IP for this game (in a very unfinished form) from another GS user. The idea behind the game is to jump on all of the ice blocks to break them so they fall into the water. You can also collect stars for extra bonuses; stars disappear as the time increases.
3). Word Balloons - Just a concept at this point, but when I finish #1 and #2 it will be my focus. Pop the balloons as they float up the screen and try to spell as many words as you can before time runs out!
This a fantastic community and I'm excited to be a part of it!

Just out of curiosity, what is the story behind your forum name ("tshirtbooth") ?

We have talked before about my game you wanted to purchase, and its funny, because its just like your third project! Thats really creative! Good to know if you can't buy the project, you decide to blatantly rip off it.
I hope you will have a lot of fun with GameSalad like me!!

First of all, in my first message to you, I mentioned that I was working on a very similar game to your Wurble game. If you remember, I wasn't even interested at first, but then I decided that they were similar enough that maybe it would make more sense to just buy yours and modify it a bit rather than re-invent the wheel.
My concept has many key differences to yours; for example, it has only one game mode, it does not have in-game purchases (totally different model) and it allows for longer words to be created. Your bubbles scroll really fast (and also tend to overlap), my balloons float much more slowly up the screen, and randomly "pop"; they also don't overlap each other. The scoring, achievements (which yours doesn't even have) and many, many other things are COMPLETELY different. I created the design document about 3 months ago, which was before I ever heard of you.
It's VERY unprofessional of you to accuse me of something like that. I would never "rip off" you or anyone else. If you had a concern, why didn't you just email me directly to talk about it before making a wild, unwarranted attack in a public forum? And for your information, I have looked at literally dozens of GS games from forum users here that were interested in selling, and out of those, I purchased one (#2 above, as noted in my original post). #'s 1 and 3 are totally original. I have absolutely nothing to hide, and I conduct my business and personal life in a very honest and up-front manner.
And, even if my game was a derivative of yours - which its not - it's a little silly that you'd be offended, since you have "Cut the Cornucopia" (Fruit Ninja!)
And I won't even get into you jerking me around in a negotiation that it turned out you had no authority to enter into in the first place (since your "partner" nixed it).
Way to blow out the welcoming carpet 8-}
@Philie common now dude, keep stuff like that on private message. Tarring and feathering is for the Chefs! They have to heat that tar up just right and they know when to use it.
exciting things you already have in the works!
Enjoy yourself … and keep us posted on your projects!
