Unlocked achievement alert: Home made or iOS included?

Hi,
I have a quick question: When an achievement reaches 100% and you send a notification to Apple, does the OS create a visual text on your app to show the achievement has been unlocked or do you have to do it yourself?
Thanks!

You will get a GameCenter popup telling you it is unlocked but if you want a list in the app you will have to create that yourself. They can always just view the Achievements in GameCenter though.

Thanks a lot for your fast answer!
Does the game center popup happen instantly or do you have to be online to get it?
    Cheers!

you will have to have a connection I believe. I know the App Caches the achievements when your offline but I dont think the caching actually knows that its achieved just the values to update.

    mmmm...
So I should probably have my own notification in case there is no connection but then it might be redundant when the player gets online..
I guess I will have to try.

I think I have seen games have both. just make sure yours is smaller that GameCenter one so if they fire at the same time it wont over power the GameCenter one. try a few different methods out in sandbox mode on an adhoc. and pick what will be best for you.
