Market Link in Open URL

Given there are few Android monetization options, having the "Market://" link on Open URL behavior would be awesome as it would allow us to cross promote our own apps without sending people to a browser

This may be an easy add-on that could have a great deal of impact!
Is it possible?

I agree. At the moment I'm fighting to have itms-apps:// added to the OpenURL behavior, I really hope they will also add market://

In the meanwhile I noticed that on the Kindle if it detect that you're trying to search for an app it will ask you if you want to open the Amazon appstore or the browser.

Oh thats good to know about the kindle but the problem with most Android users is that if they click an HTTP link they get a notice that for most seems like a scary warning...

Do you think there are any tchnical restrictions to adding the MARKET:// link or the itms-apps://
I would think MARKET is actually super easy to implement (but then again, I'm using GS to code and not coding GS itself ) )

As it is now you're forced to use one of the three protocols in the drop down menu in the behavior. I really hope that they will add market and itms-apps in it to make the user experience better.
