App name under icon on Android devices
During the publishing process we are prompted to insert the App name first on the Overview page (Title field) and then on the Platform page (Display Name field).
The title used in the Overview page is the same that is showed on the list of apps already gone through the publishing process and so I used to use placeholder names to easily identify which is for testing and which is for publishing.
With iOS when testing adhocs the app name under the app icon on the device was correctly taken from the Display Name inserted on the Platform page, and that was also the name that would appear on the published app.
The problem is that now with Android adhocs the name under the app icon is taken from the one inserted on the Overview page.
What I wanted to know is if once the apps is published on the stores (Google and Amazon) it will use the correct title or not.
I'm testing on a Kindle Fire.

I ave never noticed any issues with the display names on my android/nook/fire versions
