can i alter the game center icon art for my game?

if the default game center art doesn't fit well with my game can i alter it? like make it look mechanical and metal? or flowery? those are just examples

ok, i know you altered your slightly tsb but not extremely. unless theres an app you changed it a lot and i don't have it

im gonna change it and just hope they miss it or don't reject it

Your actually more likely to be rejected for using the actual gamecenter icon then using your own. Search on the offical apple dev forums and youll see.

You can use whatever icon you want for Game Center even the official one and you won't be rejected, the only thing you're not allowed to use is the wood texture and the green felt texture of the GC app.

I always try to modify the GC icon to best fit my apps and never had any problem with them, below are two example of it:
