How to make an enemy hop?

The idea is that I want an enemy to hop towards the player every, say, 2-3 seconds. A bit like the slimes off Minecraft,perhaps.
Bear in mind i'm making a 2D RPG/Platformer.

    Accepted Answer
    You can have it accelerate towards the playersX. And then have a rule when it collides with the gound, change self motion linear velocity y to 300 or something. Thatll make him hop towards him. Just make sure to have an accelerate down behavior seperate to act as gravity.
