AMAZING!!

For me, these programs (gamesalad, and this simple apple program) are the future!

What do you think? :))

I only read up to the patent part... Do you know how many patents Apple put in daily that never get used? I doubt this will come to fruition.

Yes, I know. A lot of apple patents will never realised...but I think this is a big possibilty to change the mobile development sector. I don't say, in a day apple released a new software, but perhaps in months or years.

TechCrunch has an article on this. http://goo.gl/c4CXy GameSalad acquisition would make sense. :-)

Dude... It looks like its just an iAd update. Look at the first image behind the new window panel. The screen has an object named "Banner" at the bottom. I'm almost confident tht this is not for iOS apps... Yet. But it would make sense. But I really prefer having tho creator done by a company that actually cares for every customer and their requests. I do hope GS sticks around for a while, even of apple creates something like it.

This is for apps, not for games though. Youll just get the native UI elements.

Try Buzztouch. It looks to be very similar to that except it's a website that lets you download the source code.

This app reminds me of the iAd Producer application to make iAds. This will probably never become a reality because Apple doesn't need this type of program. They would only do this if they thought there would be a big pile of money on the other side. I don't think they will go through with this.

Also I think they want to App Store to be a bit exclusive to only people with a programming mind set (Xcode) and will create quality stuff. Not a tool that would basically do all the hard work for you like, building a carousel automatically.

This patent is probably to get other software companies to pay them before creating a tool somewhat like the patent.

    IMO

Yay! Another one notices that's it just an iAd. I can't believe AppleInsider didn't see the 'Banner' screen in the background of the first image.
