While working in scene hwo do you zoom in and out ?

While im working parts of my scene are hard to see. How do I zoom out or get closer to my icons etc...

    try holding control then scroll your mouse.

    Im not sure if thats what you mean, but give it a try..

    Oh I see, so this allows me to zoom the entire MAC screen. this helps, thanks! :)
