i have finally finished my game (i think) and i would like to test it on my iPhone but when i press the "test" button when I'm finished with the game it goes into the iTunes "app" folder and i have tried to drag it onto my device but i have no idea what I'm doing... clearly. so is there anyone who can give me a step by step instruction on how i am able to complete this... I'm sorry i have kind of become pretty annoying with these threads lol but i just need to know about the publishing process and testing process!

    @digitalzero

    You should search for answers first... You need an iTunes Connect account and provisioning profile ($100/year) to test and/or publish. Once you pay that, here are some links to get your app on your device:

    i have both of those... but i noticed that it has the "test" button in game salad when you finish publishing so i thought that things had changed and got easier so i was a bit confused because i seen these two tutorials before and the process to test the games are pretty extensive so i was hoping it was just a button click and a drag but i guess i was sadly mistaken lol

    @digitalzero I just clicked the Test button with my iPhone connected via USB cable and it synced and installed my app. Are you saying that when you click "Test," it opens a folder on your computer?

    You can also set up an account with TestFlightApp.com and upload builds to test on your (or other people's) device.

    well basically i used the test button and it just installed on the iTunes app space under library so it is nowhere on my iPhone... i guess thats what I'm having trouble with and I'm trying to follow the instructions for the tutorial i was directed to but its not updated so a lot of things in Xcode are different and I'm not quite understanding

    I'm not following what you mean by the "iTunes app space under library" but I'm going to guess you mean clicking on the name of your iPhone in the iTunes sidebar and then clicking Apps along the top of the iTunes window. If you do that, you should see your app's name in the list of apps to sync. Is that working?
