How to add a photo to a post

Hi everyone,
First up, thank you all for you help over the past couple of months, and for helping me with all my questions, I can't thank you all enough.
I'm really sorry to ask what is possibly a really obvious question, but how do I add an image to a forum post?
I've finally finished my iPad interactive book, and wanted to put some screen grabs into the annonce your game area, but I cant work out how to add pictures?
Do I need to upload them to my server and put links to them, or am I missing a button/area on here where I can upload the images with my post?
Again, apologies for sounding dumb here, but I really cant see where I can upload the images.

Gamesalad does not allow you to upload photos, so you must host it somewhere and then post a link

just copy/paste the http: address within the quote marks
use your own server or one of the free sites that provide links for your files/images
