Favorite game any console

Hey everyone I was wandering what has been your favorite game ever it can be on any console any year.

My favorite is oddworld Abe's Exoddus

It was on play station 1 and I used to play it when I was about maybe 5 years old I'm not sure but I was very young

    Super Mario Bros. for the NES.

    Here's a bit of shocking @tshirtbooth trivia... That man had never heard of Abe's Oddysee/Exodus before... Can you believe that?!?! Haha.

    The Abe games were amazing! They are remaking them for PS3 I think.

    My partner loved Abe!!!

    I love the Metal Slugs on neo geo also Turf Masters is an excellent golf game on neo.

    Most Rare games on N64...Banjo's, Conkers Bad Fur Day etc.

    House of the dead, Crazy taxi, Sega rally on dreamcast.

    Kung Fu Master & Ghouls and Ghosts (Mame).

    SSX on playstation was a game we spent many hour on.

    I dont know the exact name, the I loved playing Mario world on the Game Boy.
    But I think I would have to go for ICO.

    Elite (Firebird, 1985) was the best game ever. I used to play it on the BBC computer and the Spectrum 48k.

    The metal slugs were great! They brought those to te app store you know....
    But my personall favourite game was made with unity in I think 2004 and that is "star wars battlefront 2"

    omg. this question is tough. ive always made top 10 and top 20 lists but never had to think which i rate as my number 1. based on my lists, and its a very very close call, id have to give it to Ultima VII + all its expansions (forge of virtue, serpent isle, silverseed)

    I've never been a huge console gamer, but:

    1). H.E.R.O. for Atari 2600. I was 10 when it came out and I played it for hours and hours...
    2). Adventure for Atari 2600
    3). Pitfall and Pitfall 2 for Atari 2600
    4). Legend of Zelda for NES
    5). Golden Axe for Genesis
    6). Sonic for Genesis

    Those were the games I played the most.

    DS: Rhythm Heaven, All Castlevanias, Mario Kart...

    Sega Saturn: Nights into Dreams, Astal, Cotton Series, Panzer Dragoon Series, Mostly japanese imports!

    Genesis: Castle of Illusion starring Mickey, World of Illusion starring Mickey and Donald.

    SNES: Secret of Mana for SNES, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country, PilotWings, Actraiser, F-Zero, Zelda: A Link to the Past

    N64: Paper Mario, Yoshi's Story, Super Mario 64

    Gamecube: Mario Kart Double Dash!, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Luigi's Mansion, Monkey Ball 1 & 2, Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Super Mario Sunshine

    Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Mario Kart

    I know I'm missing a ton more...the list could go on.... :)

    BUT

    If I had to pick just ONE of these, it would be either Yoshi's Island, Secret of Mana, or Wario Ware Inc. for GBA... that game was just amazing for it's time!

    ohh just noticed. not sure if this included pc games or not. if not then my top 3 console only (not pc) would be (this is like trying to choose who is your favourite child)

    @imGua. Heck yes, really enjoyed Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas. The western atmosphere and classics tracks in Vegas were awesome. What I really enjoyed were all the real-world and post apocolpyse townships scattered throught the mojave wasteland. Many of those places I have visited in real life, even though the distance scale was unrealistic, I still had encounters with very familiar locations, which sucked me in just that much more.
