I find it is pretty sluggish after using for a abuot 30 minutes. It seems to speed up after I shut down and restart. Is this normal? Any suggestions to improve performance?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Memory leaks run rampant right now in Beta.

I restart about every 15 minutes and save often and re-version at least every 4 hours.

yeah driving me a bit nuts. there is totally a memory leak somewhere. I could work 10 times faster if I was not waiting on clicks so much. Hey this is still awesome software. I wish they coudl fix some of that though

Read the old posts...its complained about daily...you're not the first to get frustrated about it. But hey...at least we have GS.

BTW..."A memory leak"...try "TONS OF MEMORY LEAKS (plural)".

I am sure they will get it working right...someday.

BTW here's a small tip. I can run GS for quite a while by not using the back button. When I use the back button I notice I can run GS for about 15 minutes. Switching scenes seems to help for me, instead of using back. It still runs slow after a while but it definitely seems to help.

how much ram does your system have? I ran it on my macbook with 1GB of ram for a few weeks before upgrading to 2GB, it made a HUGE difference.

that being said, there is no real difference from the 2GB of ram on my macbook, to the 4GB in my iMac
