Group name how to check if taken

Hey everyone how do you check if your group name is taken the group name is

Brain dead studios

Or

Brain dead production


We haven't really decided yet but we have no ideas if anyone has taken it

When you design an app and are ready to publish it to the App Store, Apple will tell you if the name already exists. You can, of course, search on iTunes to find out if it exists ahead of time. As far as your "group" name goes, you can call yourself anything you want, from The Beatles to The GameSalad Guys. What you do with your "group" and whether it infringes on any trademarks, etc. is another story. So I guess you need to think about whether you intend to make a formal business out of this "group" or just mess around while working on GS files.

To answer your question a bit more directly, you can google the name or search iTunes under Apps for it and see what comes up.

Thank you for the name I found out that there was a film called brain dead and possible a brain dead studio but it was in horror movies can I still call my group that because ours is in games and cartoony not horror
