dragging the screen back and forth

Hi everyone,

I created a scene that is wider than the Iphone screen. I want the user to be able to simply and smoothly slide the scene with his/her finger, so all parts of the scene can be viewed, without having to move an actor. I tried out several options, using the control camera option, but with no success, though the answer is probably very simple and right in front of me...

I hope you can help! Thanks in advance,

Maaike

I now understand how I didn't figure this out by myself :-)

    Thanks so much, great tutorial.

oops, next problem: when I now move actors across the screen, the scene moves. Whilst I only want the scene to move when no actor is being moved (as it makes it quite challenging to place the actors on the right spot when the scene isn't static). How do I prevent this from happening?

The actors that the user has to move around on the screen are spawns of an original actor (which is on a scrollable layer). I guess I have to make the spawned actors control the camera as well, that should hopefully solve the problem. Thanks!
