Generating certificate for Kindle Fire?

Hi salad masters,
I've built an app for the Kindle Fire and when I go to publish it, it asks me for certificates. I've searched through the cookbook for Kindle certificates but can't figure out what to do. I know this is a stupid question.. but can anyone explain this to me? How do I get a certificate to publish on the Fire?
