M4A Music File Issue

So I have imported an .M4A sound file. When I set it up to play it doesn't. When I close GS and reopen it the file disappears, but is still there. (I know this because the MB went up when it was placed in and it stayed there. Also when I place the sound file in again it offers me to replace it). I can't click it when I can see it in the Sounds section. It doesn't show up under Play Sounds as, and it does show up under music ( like I had intended) but like I said it still wont play the music.

Any ideas as to what is going on? Thanks

.m4a is the default music format for GameSalad, so it will only show up as a music choice for behaviors.

Other than that, it sounds like the file got corrupted in some way. At least corrupted as far as the GameSalad program is concerned. You can try to either get another export from wherever you got the music from, or you can open it in an audio program, and then save it out again as another file, and then try that new file in GameSalad. I'd try that if deleting and re-importing isn't working out. Just a couple things off the top of my head.

And make sure you don't have the volume set to 0 with a behavior or something like that, just in case.

@SlickZero Thanks. Ya it was corrupted with GS. It was two different sound files (the old one .ogg that I was using before) and the new one .M4A that I was trying to integrate in. Had the same name different extension and I guess GS can't read that correctly so that was the problem.
