Terms of Use Question on Monetization

I am new to GameSalad. Your patience is appreciated. This is a basic question, but maybe because it's about the Terms of Use, everyone is already beyond it.

I am having a hard time understanding the specifics of the monetization model. In section 6 of the Terms of Use it states: "If you are a user of our Fee-Based Services, we will pay to you a percentage of revenue actually collected by us from Monetization Vendors on account of Ads served to your Executable Package (“Revenue Share”) in accordance with each Monetization Vendor’s terms.". I am interested in the Fee-Based service, but from this sentence it sounds like the Monetization Vendor pays GameSalad, and GameSalad in-turn pays me, however GameSalad keeps a percentage of what the Monetization Vendor pays. I don't see where it is specified what percentage of the Monetization Vendor's payment GameSalad keeps.

I am certain this is something that the Pros know well. Could someone please provide the details. Thanks!

Its a fair question. Here's a breakdown as I understand it.

    1) Game Sales/iads = GS has no hand in this. You get your money directly from Apple, Amazon, B+N, or Google.

    2) Kiip/Playhaven - These are the monetization services mentioned. These services pay GS, and then GS pays you. However, the amount you receive is the same percentage you would have earned without a middleman. This means that the cut that GS takes is out of the vendor's take, not yours. There were a couple forum posts on this, but because they were about software releases, they've been pulled from the stickies.

@SaladStraightShooter Is there an official section where information about Kiip/Playhaven pay logistics can be found?
