one of the mini quest in the game is to collect different bugs (Note the Jar on the left hand side in the screenshots) which only appear in certain levels at certain times of day. this idea was heavily inspired by animal crossing/poke'mon, but I think it adds a really fun element to the game

It looks really great! I would suggest adding some images over the edges of the platforms so the grass doesn't get cut off. Looks good, but a video would be perfect to help w/ more feedback!
@tutyses Just two, I did the art, game design, SFX, and the very talented Dave Dexter did all the music tracks, each island has it's own theme. time wise, I actually started this before BeyondDead (the last title Monster Robot released) but I would estimate a month and a half of steadily working.
@carlblanchet 4 rules if time is between 12am and 9am, if time is between 10am and 4pm, etc. then things like grass and ferns will change their color accordingly, stars will turn visible or invisible, the sun will move up or down, bugs will spawn or be removed.

Thanks for getting back to my comment! In which actor would these 4 rules go? And after those rules are made do you have to make an attribute for each rule so all night/day changeable actors can detect and know if that rules is in effect or not with true or false or something?
