Multi-line Expression Editor PLEASE!!!

Hello Devs,

Please please please make the expression editor multi-line and accept carrage returns so we can put our large and complex expressions into a more readable format instead of having to clump them all together into an unreadable single line mess.

Please preserve (and allow) whitespace inside the expressions!
