Have anyone any good info on what has the most potential

My scenario is a level based puzzle game.
Concidering releasing it as a free app where you can play the first 10 levels with the option to unlock the last 50 for 0,99

Iam think this way i get alot of downloads and if the game holds up more might feel tempted to buy
I feel its a more elegent way of doing a light version.

Have any of you GS'ers som experience with this?

Cheers

If your game is polished and professional - make it free with in-app purchases.
If you have a doubts about it - you have simple graphics, or long loading times, or anything that can make player doesn't like the game - make it paid.
Freemium games (free to download, with additional things as in-app purchases) can give you a very good income (much better than standard, paid apps), but you have to spend some time on polishing your game. I know that this hint can be used in any game, but if player buy a game for a dollar, and doesn't like it - you will still have the dollar. If he download your game for free, and doesn't like it - he won't buy in-game stuff.
