Decision time on game size...

So, I'm having trouble deciding on the size of objects in my game. The decision is between using a 4x4 grid,5x5 grid or 6x6 grid. Here's the screenshot between using a 4x4 grid and 6x6:

My thoughts:4x4 looks cute, but I think that the small size will lead to players having trouble with actually playing the game, as its such a small size. Also, I'd have to more platforms in the game to fill up the screen size. 5x5 seems to be a good choice, but as Tshirtbooth said to me objects with 'odd' numbered image sizes blur.
6x6 works fine like 4x4 but it takes away from the aesthetics of the game as I'm purely using pixel art.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,FM.

I think that 4x4 looks much better, but it's pretty small. It would be easier to decide if you also add a main hero to the screenshot.

Couple of things .. Depend son how the game plays and what the player interacts with ... Without knowing this i can't say if 4x4 is too small.

5x5 would be fine to use if your actual graphics that you import in is 6x6 or if you're using Resolution Independence, 12x12. The dimensions you use in GS are fine, its just when importing into GS, you need to make sure the art is evens.

http://frazz3l.tumblr.com/ Done.Don't judge the actual character thigh, its just something I've copied up in 2 mins ;)
The game is hopefully going to be an adventure game with lite RPG elements: HP bar, XP etc. so its just platforming and killing enemies for the most part.
Aesthetically, I'm leaning towards 4x4 but for overall gameplay(kinda non-existent at the moment) I think 6x6 would be better because 4x4 would demand relatively massive platforms/terrains to fill up the screen.
    Cheers, FM.

Now I can definitely tell, that 4x4 is too small. I think that even 6x6 is too small.

Yeah, 4x4 definitely is too small. It seems to me that 6x6 is big enough, and that its just the small objects in the image that make it look too small. Another screenshot is up displaying a sort of ground to better show the size: http://frazz3l.tumblr.com/
    Thanks for the guidance.

keep in mind not to judge its size solely off the screenshots. pixel resolution is perceived differently from a monitor than to a idevice. hold up your iphone screen next to your screenshots. see what i mean? the viewable space is noticeably smaller. if you're trying to decide on size then it really needs to be assessed by what you see on the iphone/ipod/ipad
