N.O.V.A. Good or Bad? (in light of the release of N.O.V.A. 3)

What do you think of the nova games, Good Plot/Bad Storyline, Good Story Line/Bad Plot, Good Both, or Bad Both?

    Kinda meh all arround. It's a decent FPS, but since it borrows so heavily it feals like it has a case of amnesia and does not know itself (like many Gameloft games). Nova 3 takes a big chunk of influence from Crysis 2 (a favorite series of mine). Its intersting that Gameloft is able to beat others to the punch by releasing these generic titles. I'm more interested to see what Crytek will pump out as a iOS FPS.

    I play Dungeon Hunter from game loft a lot. It's pretty awesome. The multiplayer game works pretty good. The shop works good too and there are daily challenges that gives you extra gold. Not very original perhaps but it plays and works well. If anyone would like to friend me: I am noheads. (as I am in all my omp games.
    I don't know nova. Will check it out. Any games you can recommend?

    Backstab was pretty good. A mix of Assassins Creed and grand theft auto. It has a story and plot that are not too bad. Certainly better than the Disney approved Pirates of the Caribbean games (at least any of the ones I have played on console).

    Shadow Guardian is a decent Uncharted clone.

    EA's Dead Space is a real catch though, a really polished console like experience. Feels much like the console counterpart.

    I just downloaded NOVA 1 and all I get is a repeating movie with a game loft logo. Do these guys even test their apps??

    @LudwigHeijden I had not played Nova 1 since the 5.1.1 update. Just tried it now and it appears to work just fine on my 4s.

    I'm on a 4. There are a lot of complaints in the app store. Btw it is the demo. Nova 2 works fine.
    The gyroscopic control is pretty awesome. But I have to stand to be playing to get a 360 degrees view. no more lazy gaming ;)

    Ah man that's a bummer. I gotta check out Nova 2. I'll pick it up the next time they do a sale on it (maybe they'll it for memorial day weekend again).

    One suggestion: leave the gyroscopic controls off when you are playing while on the toilet ;)

    N.O.V.A. 3 is pretty awesome, the graphics are a huge improvement.
