How would you make a heads up display that always stays with the camera. The camera is controlled by another object with variable speeds and direction.

Thanks

CM, I'm getting a "404 page not found" with that link.

    It works fine for me.

I tried this technique before coming here, and after coming here, but as soon as I UNTICK the SCROLLABLE box on the top layer, my button is not drawn on the screen anymore. And I can't find it by scrolling around the scene.

If I TICK the Scrollbable box again, it's back! But then it just moves with the background.

I wonder why it won't work for me? Any ideas, lords of Game Salad?

    I figured it out!

You HAVE to place the camera in the bottom left of your scene, (even if your player character begins elsewhere in the scene, such as in the middle).

Set up all your HUD elements there at the bottom left, within that camera size.

Then, when the game beings, the camera snaps to the player, but all HUD elements appear correctly, based on that bottom-left HUD camera setup.
