Realised I didn't have the latest viewer installed on my phone, so I thought I'd sort it tonight..

But when I try to build the xcode project and send it to my phone, I get an error telling me " no provisioned devices are available with a compatible ios version"

in the organiser when I select my phone, it says :

The version of iOS on “Sparkys Iphone” does not match any of the versions of iOS supported for development with this installation of the iOS SDK. Please restore the device to a version of the OS listed below, or update to the latest version of the iOS SDK; which is available here.

OS Installed on Sparkys Iphone
5.1 (9B179)

confused!!!

???

5.1 should be fine right?
I am on snow leopard and running xcode 4.2

any ideas guys?

(am gonna update my phone to 5.1.1 see if that helps.....

Nope thats Apples way of screwing you out of $30 Its because you cannot officially get iOS 5.1 SDK on xcode 4.2 and you cannot get xcode 4.3 on snow leopard. Well played Apple.

There is a workaround available for this. if you wanna email me i'll send you over the details. tenrdrmer(at)yahoo.com
