trying to understand :if I put a new (empty) actor on the scene it will bounce around - but when I put one of my actors (from photoshop) it just sits there! i have been using photoshop and saving for the web...is it because it is a larger file?? (sorry v new to this...)

if you Are draggin the image directly into the scene, it creates a new actor without any rules.

You need to drag the image onto the actor.

Hi, thanks for fast response - yes am dragging the image onto a new actor - confused as if i put an empty actor (i.e. just a square) it will bounce around within boundaries - but if i change this to a photoshop actor with the same collision behaviour as the square - it just sits still?

seems to be the size of the file i thinks - if i reduce the actor it acts the same as the square. Do you know any way that I can have larger actors and have them respond in the same way?

just before you go :) could you tell me the correct pixel size/resolution to save an actor in photoshop...I thought that by saving it for the web it would sort this out for me? thanks
