Does this apply to anyone who create apps with gamesalad? and how do we avoid this in our apps? Also i have two splash pages with my company logos, will that cause my app to be declined too? What i am trying to say is...what kind of add did gamesalad have on their that cause them to decline your app, was it selling something?

I must not be understanding this situation. I have released several GS games recently, all with ads and there were no problems. I also use a custom splash screen, again no issues.

Wow, that is really odd. If every Apple reviewer followed that guideline those of us without Pro wouldn't be able to get our Apps approved.

Well...odd timing. My new release Fling Soccer, just got rejected for the same reason.

    So what is the solution?

I sent my rejection notice over to GameSalad support to see if they could find out some more information. I also have two updates waiting for review, so I wonder if they will be rejected as well?

They reject it sometimes because you have a paid game with advertising in it. If the game was free, they wont have a problem with it. Like SSS said, they are terribly inconsistent, and you never know what reviewer you are going to get.

If you are using GameSalads free version, you will have the PlayHaven advertisement in the beginning of your app, and you can't do anything about that unless you buy the Pro version, then you can choose to not have the PlayHaven ad in the beginning. And even if you are Pro and you choose to have the PlayHaven ad show up because you want to share revenue from it, you will have this problem too.

Like I posted earlier, what you can do is submit your app for free if you are going to have the PlayHaven ad in the beginning of your game. Then, once Apple accepts your app, and emails you it is ready to go live on the App Store, go into iTunes Connect, and change the price from free to $.99
