Windows GameSalad - 'Invalid Path'

Hi there :)
I'm currently having an issue with the windows version of GameSalad (This is my first time using it, so it may just be me being rubbish) - But I'm trying to follow this tutorial (left/right platformer movement with TShirtBooth) and I'm stuck trying to add Player>Motion>Linear>X or Y. It keeps showing as 'invalid path'. I'm trying to make up, down, left, right movement, and it's not working.

Here's some screenshots of what I've got atm - Just ask if it's not clear enough/I'm not doing it right

Thanks in advance

i always get invalid path when i try to adjust movement attributes on an actor by selecting it in the actor menu, i have to always unlock the actor an place the movement atributes on them in the scene, then after i finish the actor in the scene, i can group everything, save it to my custom rules, then drag that onto the actor in the actor menu, when i look a it it will say invalid path, but as soon as i drag it onto the scene all the things will be filled in corectly

If you think this is an issue with GS, you should report it: http://arcade.gamesalad.com/feedback

Also, please be aware that GS Creator for Windows is in beta, so there could be some issues, and your job, as a betatester is to report them to the GS team, so they can fix them, before the official release of this engine.
