problem walking across 2 actors at exact level

ok i have my character acter, he has an accelarate pushing him down,
he is set to move right, 30 lin vel
he is set so that his graphic flip anytime his lin vel becomes 0 (bumps a wall or something)
he is set so that when his graphic flips hi starts moving at 30 inthat dir

this was working great, but it seems when i change up the floor tile actors, say from a stone to a dirt, even if they are perfectly flush and at the same exact level, with exactly the same atributes.

sometimes he will walk across them as he should, but then sometimes for some reason he bumps it and turns around as if it was a wall. it seems completely random if he will walk over or bump it.

any thoughts on why this happens?

Yes this is common with GS unfortunately, the best way round this is to make the character actor collision a circle...Actor/Physics/Collision Shape/Circle and this will stop the actor snagging.

You might also want to check fixed rotation.
