As beefy said there is nothing easier than Gamesalad to develop 2d games with. Watch all the videos that can be found on youtube and that will certainly get you on your way to making a good game! -

Akhan, I think you need to spend some time doing research before you post topics like these. If you expect to make millions and you think gamesalad is hard, you might have bitten off more than you can chew. GS is the simplest tool out there for game making. I made a fully working prototype of a game in 45 minutes the first time I issued it. -

Jon how much ur game made,u developed in 45 minx
You always talk about the money. Don't expect big money, just play, make games, have fun, and IF you earn something - then be proud and happy. -

Yes you can make good games with GS, but it is all about YOU because if you dont understand GS then you'll not make a good game

To publish a iOS game you need a Mac -

I didn't say I made a game in 45 minutes, I said a full working prototype in 45 minutes.

@AKHAN To what are you comparing it to? Hard compared to Corona, Objective C, something else? or just hard?
Making good games is not easy (making bad games is actually much easier), regardless of tool, but I must say that 2D games are one of GS sweet spots. If you look around the forum you will see some great games which you cannot tell if they were made with GS or something else (well, if you overlook the ugly spinning wheel...).
Cheers,

Actually I'm interested in that too, but should qualify the question: what are some good or even "classic" games made with GS - what are the best GS games out there?

GS can't make good games if you can't do this. GS is just a tool, like a hammer, and it only depends on craftsman if he makes a good table, or just a piece of junk.
And you need a Mac to make, and publish Mac or iOS apps.

Hey jonmul
can we make exactly a game like that using GS

You can make any pretty much any 2d game you can think of. I have yet to see an example of a game that couldn't be accomplished. Some require workarounds, but all good games require hard work.
