Hey guys, what do you reckon is a good minimum number of levels to have a satisfying gaming experience. The game I'm making has 18 levels in total. The first 9 run for 2 minutes each and the last 9 are copies of the first nine but have infinite time limit as long as the player satisfies certain conditions in the game. Given that I have 9 infinite levels and 9 short levels, do you guys think it'll be enough?

i think 18 in total is pretty good to start off with... then you should bring out monthly updates with new levels. This means the customer will always have something new to play.

You can also try and put in an arcade mode where the player can play a continuous level.. or something along those lines. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I reckon 18 - 25 is plenty.. it depends on the game of course simple puzzle games often have dozens of levels,, personally i think if the game is quality then less is more.. even angry birds lost my interest after 15 levels or so.. best of luck..
