how to control what happens when user exits and reenters

currently, in my adhoc version, if I exit out of the app and re-enter, it goes right to the set of actors I saw right before leaving. I would actually like it to go back to my home screen instead, so that the user can choose to resume gameplay or to restart. Does anyone know how to do this? (I have save and loads and resume/restart already set up).
