Snow effect
Hi guys,
I hope you're all well.
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this little effect, I'm trying to use particles to create a snow effect. I've tried using a png sequence and overlaid it as the top layer of my level, however, it doesn't look great and slows down the game.
Ive tried particles, however, I cant seem to get the randomness correct. If anyone who has managed to achieve such an effect (or would be kind enough to explain how to correctly use particles to achieve such an effect) I would be really grateful.
As always, thanks everyone for your help, i'm just finishing of the final tweaks to my latest game and I will post screen shots soon,
Cheers,
Chris

hey man,
when you open gamesalad the main screen with the templates shows up. Open the alien conqorers template and use the particle settings that are in the star particle actor. That should work well for snow particles as well.
