Can i use .caf files for sound in iPhone's games or need .ogg only?

do we have to use a specific compression? i have used max for converting and it gave me tons of compression options ...
any advice?

I noticed an improved load time after using the "play music" using m4a format instead of play sound using ogg for main music.

But allow Apple to use .caf files for audio in iPhone's game ?

Yes, they can be used for iPhone games. I know of at least one (Mozart to Infinity) that has successfully used them.
