GameSalad for dynamic HTML5 website content

Is there an easy way to create little snippets of HTML5 code for dynamic content to use in an interactive website(the website runs on wordpress) in terms of publishing? It doesn't have to be published onto GameSalad Arcade first, does it?

You cant add any code of any kind to a gamesalad project, and any gamesald html5 games can only be hosted on gamesalads site but you can show it wherever with the embed code
    cheers

Wow, why can't you just use the code in your website without an embed code, though?

Wait, do you mean I can simply embed the code on my website(the game itself) or do you mean embed the hosted game from the gamesalad website(like a youtube video)? The latter sucks, I paid for pro, why exactly would I not be able to use my game/content how I deem fit?

Is it because they want to track it? Does that mean all games are tracked in iOS as well? They must do it somehow with Playhaven.

No you dont have access to the actual html code of the game. You just get the embed code.

The game is hosted on the gamesalad arcade. On the arcade page there is a embed code that you can put wherever. And theres no playhaven or anything in html5

I never said I thought there was Playhaven in HTML5, just that they must be tracking even the iOS code, since Playhaven includes play outs. I don't know about others, but I much rather prefer GameSalad being an engine rather than this walled garden. Especially as a pro customer I don't really appreciate that.

Enough with this silly arcade, Pro users need HTML 5 export!

    Indeed

Why they wont give us HTML5 export when other tools can do it with no problems is simply baffling

    I agree.
That would be a great cost saver for my client (and more revenue for myself)!
Have completed a few html5 games.
I'm prototyping with GameSalad, and then paying someone to code the html5.

I'd love to see Gamesalad able to export as HTML 5, then the tool could be used for more than just game development. I'd love to use it at my graphic design studio to develop HTML 5 banner ads, HTML 5 animations for product demos, etc...

They're really missing out on an opportunity by not opening this up.

That little shooter game they have on the front page for example. Why on haven't they allowed us to make something of that sort yet? Allowing the player to mouse over to start the action is ten folds better than pressing what looks like a movie play button to load the game. Let's not forget to mention that custom window sizes and overlays are an absolute necessity too.

Yea I've inquired about this before and I'm coming from this still as only a "flash" approach with embed-able swfs.. Key things they need to do (and i'm talking pro features)

    1. Please let us define the size of our game for HTML5

    2. Allow us to not publish games in the arcade

    3. Opt out of the frame/wrapper thing that is always around the HTML5 games so a game can be bare of anything other than what we put in it.

I have missed out on some business opportunities to make games for web sites because i can't make games that can be embedded WITHOUT the fixed size and frame/wrapper thing around it and not make the game exclusive to a given customers web site.

    Thanks

Yes! Finally some people agree wIth me! Here's my list for HTML export (only pro):
    1. No play button (auto play)
    2. No GameSalad frame
    3. No GameSalad plugin needed
    4. Option to change the size of the frame
That would mean we could create cool advertisements with GameSalad. Please add this feature.
    Thanks!

I really think Gamesald need to change the options for html, I've emailed them to ask them, I think everyone who wants these features needs to make a request directly to Gamesalad so they can see there is demand. I want no restrictions on the size of the html5 version of the game, the ability to not publish on the arcade, removal of the gamesald name on the controller and I am willing to upgrade to pro or something else if that is required. I know they are running a business and I don't mind paying for a good product.

maybe they are working on.. i agree with GameMaker now offering this function with no splash screen, no outside frame that shows the software behind it etc i think it must be an option for pro users - that way more people who are maybe ex flash devs or who want to make html5 games for clients will choose GameSalad. At the minute people choose GS for mobile games dev and the html5 is kinda an added but not quite there yet bonus.
