Hey guys! Just wanted to let you guys know that the iPad version of my iphone game Trash Drop is coming out this Thursday. I originally never planned to make a iPad version till I read about a little trick that basically took my iphone game and stretched it to fill the iPad. I also found out that while this would normally not be very advisable because of your sprites not being a high enough resolution, that if you do everything 8 bit it actually looks great. I believe this is because everything is already squares so you don't have to worry about your round edges starting to look pixely cause they already are. Anyways, here are some screen shots, hope it does well!

Also, apparently this is a question, not sure how that happened....

Fixed this from a question. That's something you need to make sure to set properly when posting.

Glad you like the Camera Trick Conversion. And for future reference there is no reason you cannot do that with regular artwork as well as long as the art is the correct size it will look fine even though its an ipad version. I normally use the retina ipad art which is actually a little under and it still looks great on the ipad and ipad 2. Future stuff will need a new set of art for the iPad versions now though due to the new ipad retina display.

    Cheers

Yeah, I understand that if the initial artwork is high enough resolution it doesn't matter. What I discovered, and should have known all along, is that if everything is already square it can be stretched with virtually no loss in quality.

Thanks for the fix too, I will have to make sure to be more careful next time when I post!
