Everyday when I come home I put the change in my pocket into a jar. After a few months. I get approx $120, it adds up faster than one would think if you use cash instead of a credit card everyday.

So if you have have GS free, you could spend 6 months learning GS, and polishing an AWESOME game, take your change to coinstar, and buy pro.

No joke, it would work.

All mine gets put in the kids piggy banks. Heck they even take any stray bills I might leave on the kitchen counter. 20s have even been known to disappear on occasion into those piggy banks.

Hah, nope married in fact :P

Just being a little snarky cause I'm tired of all the complaining. All though the bit about my change jar is true.

Personally I think they should just get rid of free altogether.

Have a $99 basic membership (no ads no pro features)

    and the $300 pro

It'd eliminate the attitude that GS is obligated to give stuff away to free users.

Yeah this definitly works well for my son. He gets all chafe but quarters out of my pockets. The boys got over $200 bucks and he only 4. At this rate he's gonna be able to buy his own pro account soon. ;)

Sure but change comes from spending money. A person could also look at not buying some of the things that they end up with change from and they would actually have more money, quicker.

hey sneaky trick for parents ... give your kids allowance whilst their watching their favorite show or playing games (as they are likely to just slip it in their pocket) .... then get it all back when they bring you their clothes to wash =))
(*need to install the 'money found in the wash is mine' rule first!)
