How to back up GS file?

Hi so I'm trying to backup a lot of files, including my GS games, and in the past when I have uploaded them to dropbox or something, I wouldn't be able to open them in the GS creator again. I know that I can compress the files and that is what I am doing this time, but if there is another way to do it (besides using a flashdrive) it would be helpful to know.

Thanks for help, and if there isn't another way, compressing the files seems to work.

My GS development folder is a dropbox folder, never had an issue.

Oh that's odd, maybe the issue I have only happens when I try downloads off of dropbox's website. I think the folder on my desktop might work better. Thanks

I can open the projects on different laptops (never tried to do it at the same time, does not sound like a good idea), but I didn't try to download and open it. Conceptually there shouldn't be an issue, but dropbox might download it as xxx.gameproj.zip, so you will need to unzip it.

I don't trust google either. The only product I use from them is Chrome.

make sure to zip them before you upload them :)
I do this every time. Otherwise they see it as a folder rather then a file.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing this time, thanks
