Money making suggestion for Game Salad

Currently GS's drag and drop competition (Game Maker Studio-just released; and iStencyl) both allow third part plugins to supplement their SDK's features. And it looks like they are not even monetizing that capability. I understand why GS hasn't allowed/implemented this for the free version (the competitors don't really have a free version) but if GS offered this for the pro version and assuming people made some good plugins it sure would encourage purchases of pro accounts. Additionally, it would likely drastically speed up GS development into a full featured SDK offering everything one might want (e.g. Multi player; access to camera, etc....). It would seem to be a win win for everyone.
To address one potential criticism of this idea (potential crappy bug ridden plug ins), maybe GS could make it so only plug ins purchased on the marketplace would work. That way, GS would have control over the quality. Even better, they would now also be making money not only from the additional pro subscriptions but also from marketplace sales.
Maybe this is not currently plausible because of the Lua. But once they get rid of that, I don't see why they would not do it. It would be like them getting free money for others to develope the capabilities of GS Creator with no cost to GS except quality control (which would just be the cost of someone testing to make sure they work before putting on the marketplace; heck they might even farm that out to sous chefs or other interested beta testers).
What does everyone think?

And BTW, GS is still in Beta. Don't forget about this.
I realize it's in beta, and I am certainly not complaining about the current features. I love GS. Just thought it would be a nice way for GS to make some extra cash at little to no cost to it and at the same time accelerate maturity of the creator.
