Important question about Timer-Attribute.

Hey,
I'm currently developing a metronome app. My problem is that the timer attribute can't play a tick, instead of every 5s, 120 times in a minute. Is there a possibility to include BPM in my app?

Thank you very much.

    @fahrraddach … alas … in GS … at this time …
    options we have for SFX are Play plus pitch/volume/positional/velocity

    can you try with just user selections for the standard BPM (9-12 soundFiles) ???
    … rather than all the possible iterations between 44 and 200?

    @FryingBaconStudio … sound is your forte!

    @fahrraddach

    http://www.hypnosishealthcare.com/metronome.html
    -right click on any of the various BPM's you want … and Download Linked File As…

    Audacity is free … http://download.cnet.com/Audacity/3000-2140_4-10062994.html
    then you can export the wav to the ogg format for GS
    (if you are good at it … you can edit the length of the file in Audacity)
    saving big bytes
    … import into GS project as a sound file

    put the Play Sound behavior in a rule for stop/play and loop

    the metronome sound is constant and consistent … no worry about missing a tick

    Well that would work, but I want my user to decide himself how fast he wants the metronome to be. He must be able to choose from 44 BPM to 200 BPM. I want him to be able to choose any number between those. Any suggestions? Buts still, thanks for the answer.

    Looks like there's no other possibility. But BPM in Timer attribute is definitly needed in a new update. How can I make GameSalad recognize this important update?
