Will GS be changing how Playhaven works?

Hey everyone,

Currently the way playhaven is working is much worse than the way it was before IMO. I was wondering if GS is thinking about changing it or will they be keeping it this way forever. This is actually a good reason to switch to pro just to get rid of these crappy ads.

Playhaven is GS's worst feature, even for pros IMO

I guess no one knows, but this is how it is right now.

Go Pro and don't worry about it.

Dont count on it. This is honestly the best way to go. It will force most free users to go free with their apps. opening up the door for the pro guys to not be covered up by so many apps that should have never been published in the first place. Win-win if you ask me.

Did I say all free users make crappy apps? NO I said there a bunch of crappy apps that now will hopefully stay off the paid side of the store. Don't worry. Theres plenty of pro users making junk as well. Everyone really should stop getting there undies in a wad over words on the internet.

Every other sdk allows you to use the app for free, but you need to pay up before you publish

GS follows the same method, but allows you to publish for free with included ads, a pretty good model if you ask me.

If you are serious about making games and want to turn this into a living, $299 is incredibly cheap. Most people spend more than that on coffee a year.

Just like the gocery store "forces you to be a paying customer" by not giving away free food.
