Our game is complete, we are trying to submit to Apple, but we ran into an error with the error: iPhone/iPod Touch: Icon.png: icon dimensions (0 x 0) don't meet the size requirements. The icon file must be 57x57 pixels, in .png format.

Is this an error with GameSalad or can i fix this problem myself in xcoe or the bundle?

See if the icon is set at a resolution of 72ppi/dpi. There are instances if the resolution is to high, it will be a no go.

Is it RGB, maybe the project is set to CMYK right now?

If it has the right extension identifier, is set at 512 x 512 and at 72ppi/dpi, GameSalad should do its magic as tshirtbooth just said. It may be time to contact support. I take it that you tried re-publishing it just to ensure there was not an error/hick up during publishing.

Did the same icon load fine and was recognizable via itunes connect?

Also, try this just to see what it shows up as (if you have not already): Open the icon in preview, go under the Tools menu and select Adjust Size. This will give you a proper resolution measurement. There are some apps that save at just over and under 72 (I don't think that should be an issue though). Check it out there, it it shows anything other than 72 save it out as 72 and test it.

That should not matter SRGB or CMYK

We have the 512x512 icon but we still have the error: iPhone/iPod Touch: Icon.png: icon dimensions (0 x 0) don't meet the size requirements. The icon file must be 57x57 pixels, in .png format.

We tried all fixes on our end we have listen to you guys videos, read the forums and still no fix on our end we have concluded that GameSalad is just not resizing app icon durring publishing.

Any fix to this in GameSalad or should we contact Support?

    Hi all,

I'm experiencing the exact same problem - not doing anything different from usual but getting the "Icon dimensions (0x0) Don't meet the size requirements" error from the application loader.
I'm assuming it's server side, please let me know if you find a solution!

    Thanks
    Alex

    djandthekatz,

Thanks but I don't think we're having the same problem. For me GS is creating corrupt icons that can't be opened in preview. I tried compiling another project that I know works but I'm still getting the same error.

It must be a glitch in the server

alkex - Yeah! I foud the fix it was not GameSalad or the app icon..It was Application Loader!

The fix in this case is to download the latest version of the Application Loader.
