Wow....that shaped up nicely (i watched the video). Love the improvements since your Beta version (especially the particles and audio overlays). Looks like you have a good shot at getting the kids market especially.

My only thought is...Everything looks really clean and polished except for your scoring numbers. I recommend you do your own number digits to match the rest of the graphics theme. Also I suggest that you replace your splash screen background image...since it appears you swiped it from Flutterby and blurred it (am I right?). Use iStock to find something else. Other than that...it looks really good.

    Good luck with it.

Keep us posted on its app store performance.

    [EDIT]
One more thing...IMO I think $1.99 is too much...go with $0.99 and you may get a much larger volume...since its allowance money you are targeting and not American Express cards. Also get rid of the 50% off statement...As good as it is...IMO there is no way that this is a $4 app...PvZ was $3. :D

looks really nice and polished....menu screens look good.

I second what synthesis says about creating your own numbers for the score. A bit time consuming but probably worth it....not that I've done it for my current game creation yet....hmm...can I be arsed... we shall see...

Yeah i hear you guys and thanks for the advice.

I hope (fingers crossed it gets featured and will leave the price as is for now) but after a month or so i will reduce to 99c and update as i think you may aswell try and get as much as possible if it does get a feature.

Careful though...you don't want to price yourself out of the market at introduction. Play for the big numbers...which come with volume sales...and cheaper apps make bigger volumes (generally). This is why Alpine Crawler has done sooooo well...its a STEAL at $0.99.

Make it a "steal"...and you will get MORE attention.

    [EDIT]
Case in point...More Cupcake...at $1.99...no one would buy it but at $0.99 it sits in the top 10 for weeks.

    Well done Darren!
I'm a proponent of $1.99 games. If you start at .99 you have nowhere to go. There is an upward trend in pricing which is healthy for developers. Educating the buying public and getting them used to seeing $2 apps is part of that education. Most people won't think too much of spending $2 if it's something of value to them.
Still it is trial and error right now and you will find your pricing comfort zone.
    Good luck with it.

Yeah would be good for us if $1.99 was the new 99c :)

Any takers with the promo codes?
