Can Gamesalad in-app purchase (IAP) behavior work in an AdHOC installation?

When testing IAP on the iPhone, I get an error that "product identifier was not recognized." and why doesn't it prompt for the sandbox test user login?

I verified that the product ID match in both gamesalad and itunesconnect.
So can Gamesalad IAP work in an AdHOC installation on a sandbox test user environment?

Yes, you should be able to test the in-app purchases even with an adhoc.

Did you create a test user account on iTunes Connect?
If so, close your app on your iPhone, log out of your Apple account in Settings, and start your app. When you tap your IAP, log it with your test user account.

Don't use the expression editor to input the value, type it right in without hitting the e. it works, I've done it multiple times this week

I finally got it to work; the problem was the need to create a matching AppID and bundleID.
Thank you for your input guys.

Hello Victorychu, I'm having the same problem ("Product Identifier was not recognized") even though it worked in the Adhoc and Sandbox.

Could you please explain how to match the AppleID and BundleID?

Is "Apple ID" the same as "AppID"?

No, it's not the same. your apple ID is your login to itunesConnect while the AppID is the application ID you create in Apples' provisioning portal. The bundleID (e.g. com.company.appname) is created in the itunesConnect website. Mine started working after I avoid using the asterisk-based bundleID.
