I made 804 points. Rated it 5 stars :-) (German AppStore)

    Want some feedback?

    * The animation is really nice and the white on black style looks good.
    * The squares are coming so fast (from 700 on) that it is almost impossible to jump
    in the right moment.
    * In the beginning the game feels too slow for me.
    * The jumping speed feels too slow for me. Maybe it would be a good idea
to make the jumping speed (ie the y-movement when touching the screen) a function of
the score (as the speed of the squares already is)
    * The levels take really long (More than 15 seconds) to load on my 3G. That might be more
than the average gamer will wait.

    Cheers
    Matthias

    Hallo, Matthias
Vielen Dank für Deine Tipps und für Dein Rating :)))

And also for your detailed ideas on how I could improve the game flow and the jump and run feeling!

I am sure that I will implement your ideas in an update :)))

Greetings from your southern neighbour (spring started yesterday with 18 degrees celcius)

    Bitteschön :-)
Wir hatten heute immerhin schon 15 Grad und etwas Sonne ...

    Good luck for your game!

Hey Zilla, I think Matthias makes some good points. I like this game and rated it when you first released, but I agree especially about it getting just too hard to jump higher on.

I'd be interested in knowing how the free for a time goes. Keep us updated on that. I'm considering releasing my next app as free for the first day, but I'm hearing a lot of conflicting advice.

I don't know if it's a good idea to release a free game but I can give some details:

When "Walk the Line" was 99 cents, I sold 1-2 copies a day...
When I changed it to a free app (for a limited time) one day ago, I had almost 4000 downloads yesterday and the app soared from nirvana to #129 in Arcade Games and #142 in Action Games.

    I'll keep you informed.

My other free app "StrummerLite" was in the Music Top 100 for 1 month and I had about 600 downloads a day. This app has AdMod integrated and I made several hundred bucks with this service. Approximately 5-10 people a day bought the full version during this period.

`The levels take really long (More than 15 seconds) to load on my 3G`

Yes, I know... on my 3GS I have to wait 10 secs... but I don't know how to change this.
I think it's because of the sound files...

I forgot to mention: Walk the Line is #14 in the free games category of France and I get about 6000 downloads/day there.

The App is not free anymore, but if anyone wants a promo code, I will post or send one.
