First let me say I am for the most part happy with game salad or i wouldn't have upgraded my account a while ago. This is more of a concern than anything.

It got me thinking.

Does anyone developing the game actually get it?
By that I mean view GS from a users perspective. The problem is that to really understand the frustrations of the shortcomings you have to really use the system extensively.

There are some awesome demos and tutorials and even some small games i have seen from GS staffers. But, nothing that would lead to the frustration of a larger game with hundreds of actors which, a lot of us are working with. Slapping together space invaders to make sure the engine "works" is just not the same. Unless i am supposed to limit myself to a one scene 10 actor game.

I get the feeling our complaining about memory leaks and and the engine coming to a grinding halt falls on deaf ears. And i can understand why, how could anyone really understand how frustrating it is if you they spending day after day working on a time consuming game that closes on you every 3 - 4 minutes.

I dont think Microsoft would release a beta of MS word that you could only type three sentences before having to close and reopen. And yes that is an accurate comparison.
It's that bad once you get a lot going and have to use the back button.

My challenge is this, make a killer game. Feel the frustration we do.
Maybe you guys have and I'm wrong. If so thats fine. Like i said. Im not upset and I'm certainly cool with being wrong (i'm actyuallygood at it). I just question rather or not the "shot callers" really know the deal.

Thats all!

EDIT: If this rubs someone the wrong way feel free to delete it. I'm not gonna press the issue or raise a stink. I'm not looking for trouble. lol
