Bass Drop logo, thoughts and considering an artist to enhance it

This is my latest app logo:



I'm wondering what you guys think of it, if you could rate it out of 10 and add some feedback that'd be great, for some reason apple, converted it to a glossy logo in the upload procedure. Is it better glossy?



Also any artist out there who believes they can make a better looking logo that sheds more light on the app's use and targets the dubstep audience please get in touch with me.

@SaladStraightShooter thanks for the feedback, I'm searching around for artists and have spent the past 3 days developing the new sounds for the update; they are pretty cutting edge and mind blowing! so I'm certain you'll like the next version.

Hopefully there'll be another wave of bass head downloaders.... I think a lite version of the app with a more seo based app title with iAds in could work to expand the notoriety, what do you think?

I agree with @SaladStraightShooter - it has a sci-fi game feel to it... I gave it a quick spin... but am not sure this is heading in the right direction either...

@SpriteAttack thanks very much for your effort, it looks pretty cool, i like the cone as well, quite like the lightning idea too! Really wasn't expecting anyone to have a crack

I wonder whether the text Bass Drop should be in the Icon too, other options would be a keyboard I suppose.
