I know you can have a scene at start saying
After (time) change scene to Menu (or whatever)
is there any other way?

I'm pretty sure it's in the "advanced" area during a build. It's a button you have to click but I can't remember exactly where it is.

Nope, it's just a static image that only lasts until the game is loaded(usually a few seconds for me).

Starting with .9.92 basic people could use their own splash screens

If you're pro, I believe you can assign a custom splash screen during the build process.

I'm a basic user (hopefully not for much longer), and it will let me add a splash screen.

build it until you get to the provisioning part, click advanced, click image.
