Myself I find Gamesalad by an article, build your own game, in the Swedish Macworld newspaper 1 year ago. http://macworld.idg.se/2.1038/1.398036/bygg-ett-eget-iphone-spel

How did you came here?

Tshirtbooth tutorials - having tried to get my head round "real coding" and finding that - by the time I had worked out how to do something I had lost all interest i what I was trying to do.

I ran into an article on gamesradar.com about how to make a game in a week w/ no coding, and the engine he used was Gamesalad. I was interested so I became a member... but then I found out it was only for Mac. So, over the next few weeks I looked for old mac-books on ebay and found the right one. :)

So am I the only one who checked out GameSalad because of seeing the old, "Made with GameSalad" splash screen in a game?

The game was doodle destroy. but yeah. the splash screen in that game is what made me find the SDK

I found it in a Mac World years ago. I started trying to use and understand GameSalad, but I was a bit too young and didn't have enough patience. A year or so later I had the whim to make a game, and I remembered the ad in Mac World!

When I joined back in november of 2009 there weren't many "Made with Gamesalad" games around :)

I discovered it in an article posted on an italian iPhone blog. Back then I was starting to learn (aka smashing my head) some real coding and GS seemed like heaven :)

Haha everyone seems to have their own way to find Gamesalad. I think it was the fate that did so :)
