About art size of the scene help

Hi there everyone !!! I'm got a question about how large or small the size of my art in photoshop for example the scene size for my main menu are 1024x600 that for android of course and second my main character is 64x64, and my arts what size should it be? Thanks in advance

    It depends on the scale you are using for the game and what elements you are trying to make like trees or rocks.

    If for example the scene inside GameSalad for android is 1024x600, I plan to use that size for the background ??? Second my character size I plan to use is 64x64???
